Introducing Hinge Health

Starting Jan. 1, 2025, MESSA has partnered with Hinge Health, a digital clinic that provides virtual physical therapy. MESSA members and their dependents 18 and older can rehab and get relief from their home using Hinge Health.

Members can access the free service using the Hinge Health app. The different programs help you reduce everyday joint and muscle aches, recover from an injury and relieve pelvic pain and discomfort. You will receive exercise therapy sessions that you can do in 15 minutes using the Hinge Health app. You’ll also receive one-on-one support from a physical therapist or health coach to help you reach your goals.

The coaches will work with you to provide a personalized plan. In addition to one-on-one coaching, you’ll also receive:

  • A free wireless advanced smart scale
  • All-in-one weight, activity and food tracking
  • Guidance on creating healthy habits that last

For more information, visit messa.org/Teladoc.

Overage Dependent Process

The Overage Dependent process is over. Soon you will see the list of dependents with their updated status on the BAC.

If an employee has missed the deadline to confirm that their dependent is a full-time student or impaired, there are forms available on Overage Dependents page of the BAC under the heading Helpful Resources. These forms should be sent through the Secure Messaging section of their MyMESSA account along with a letter explaining why they missed the deadline.
