MESSA Board approves average 0.88% rate increase for 2020 plan year
MESSA’s Board of Trustees voted Aug. 8 to approve an average 0.88% rate increase for the 2020 plan year, which runs Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2020. Specific group rates will vary.
State and federal taxes
For the convenience of the business offices and members we serve, MESSA will again include all taxes and fees in the premium.
Vision, dental, life, disability and AD&D
Premiums for MESSA dental plans will raise an average of 3.5%. Vision plans will increase an average of 7.75%. Rates for disability, life, and accidental death and dismemberment coverage will remain unchanged in 2020.
