Online benefits website
MESSA’s online benefits website is built by people who understand employee benefits and designed with the user in mind.
- Employers have more control over benefit administration with straightforward enrollment tools, easy-to-read dashboards, customizable reports, mass email options and more.
- Employees can easily complete their new hire or open enrollment, update their personal information and submit “life event” changes.
ACA reporting tool
Because MESSA is your employee benefits provider, we have all the information needed to simplify your IRS ACA reporting requirements.
Our online benefits website will compile ACA compliance data to assist you in generating your annual 1095-C employee forms. You can decide whether you’d like to distribute them to your employees or have MESSA take care of it for you. You can also electronically transmit the completed 1095-C and 1094-C forms to the IRS on the online benefit website.
You can use MESSA’s ACA reporting tool to:
- Generate 1095-C forms
- Print and mail 1095-C forms to employees
- File the 1095-C and 1094-C forms electronically with the IRS
Cafeteria plans
MESSA can integrate cafeteria plan options into your online benefits website. We can customize each plan to your specifications, making it easy for employees to select their options and enter their contribution amounts. We will also note any minimum or maximum contributions that may apply. You will then receive a report with employee selections for your review and processing.
COBRA
MESSA can handle all your COBRA needs.
We will provide your employees with a notice of COBRA availability upon their becoming eligible. When a qualifying event occurs, we’ll provide the employee with a COBRA election notice, process their enrollment, collect payment and remit funds back to you. We will also process the COBRA termination when the employee is no longer eligible or upon their request.
Copies of all COBRA communications and payments will be kept within the employee file section of our online benefits website.
Open enrollment administration
MESSA’s open enrollment administration provides everything you need to complete your annual open enrollment from start to finish. This service can be customized to provide the level of support you want; you can maintain control over all aspects of your open enrollment or you can let MESSA handle everything for you.
